CWW Usage Policies
The Williamson County Council for the Written Word encourages responsible and appropriate usage of the Internet and its resources. When visiting our site or using our resources, please follow the policies addressed herein. Policies may be revised without notice and at any time.
Email Policy
Email addresses used by CWW end with “@cww-writers.org” and are designated for specific purposes of direct communications between CWW officers, committees, its members, and the public. Use of such addresses for any bulk mailing or similar purpose is discouraged. Email addresses found in use contrary to this policy will be opted out of such use. Repeated inappropriate use of CWW email addresses will cause appropriate action to be taken against the abuser, up to and including blacklisting of the offending address or domain.

Examples of inappropriate use include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assignment of or invitations to CWW email addresses for membership to social media sites (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, or others).
- Assignment of CWW email addresses to mass email groups or lists, whether by manual or automated means including, but not limited to, web crawlers, marketing contact lists, or organizational membership lists.
