CWW Bibliography


Williamson County, Tennessee has a history of published authors that has been documented to as early as the eighteenth century. The literary legacy continues today. Are you a part of it?

In its earlier years, the bibliography was published in several printed versions. The sixth and last printed edition of Williamson County Celebrates the Written Word was published in 1998 by the Literary Committee of the Williamson County Arts Council, CWW's forerunner. You can still find those early publications in the Reference section of the Williamson County Public Library (WCPL).

As the bibliography grew, it moved online as a web page hosted by WCPL. Still the offspring and favorite child of the Council for the Written Word, it boasts some four-hundred entries and is the largest such bibliography in the State of Tennessee!

Authors who have published a book and are either currently or formerly residing in Williamson County, Tennessee, U.S.A. are eligible for inclusion in the bibliography. If you wish to be included, please contact the main branch of the WCPL in Franklin, TN, U.S.A.
